Very strange...
The marking says 'Günther Groenhoff'
Günther died 23.July 1932 in the Rhön-Contest in the Fafnir.
The Rhönsperber was developped by Hans Jacobs in 1934
.... so this was certainly NOT Günther's Airplane
I never saw this pictures. The Marking on the Rudder is 'NC', so it was registered in the USA. I think the Photo was made after the war. (Also by the dress style of the people)
I'll try some more ...
