Beautiful sailplane Chris.I have some original technical drawings if you'd like to see them. Nice colour scheme ( except the "logo" on the fin...)

What covering material? And how do you obtain this realistic aspect?
Which airfoil, it seems to have an important curve?

The Rhonadler flies...! The blend of old and new airfoils seems to work very well, and she was able to fly in the strong wind, too. Some damage to repair thanks to pilot error, but nevertheless a good result

The Rhönadler flies majestically and slow like an original. And I like also the colours very much (except the thing on the rudder....)

How does it behave when you fly too slow. regarding the small wing tips?

Great Chris, your combination of airfoils seems to be a good choice? Could you tell us more about the flight characteristics? Nice video and music and ,like Walter, nice colour scheme except the logo on the fin as told before....It would be easy to modify..?

Messieurs... first remember that some of the video clips have been slowed down for artistic (and scale) effect. The Rhonadler does seem to fly quite slowly, however, and the stall is a perfectly safe one, so the combination of airfoils seems to work very well.
The wing mounting arrangements have proved to be weak, and the model is in airplane hospital at the moment and unable to fly. Unfortunately I now have the bug to build something else (ASK11), but will get back to the Rhonadler in due course...

The wing loading is similar to my other models: I can't give it to you in metric, bit it's around 18-20 ounces per square foot in Imperial measurements
