Hello Georges,
thank you very much for your kind offer, this sounds great!!
Could you please tell me which M.S. 505 you are able to photograph?
I will put together some pics or links to express the views that are important for me.
Is it better for you to have one shooting with more pictures or a fiew shootings with less pics each?
Do you mean that only the ribs of the M.S. wings were made of alu and the covering was also made of textil? Or is the covering an alu sheeting as well?
Greets from Germany
Ralph

Hello Georges and others,
for me it would be great if you could make pictures from the wings that would show the surface structure. From the inner rib to rib no. 8 there is an alu covering on the storch's wing's top, because underneath there are fuel tanks. On the alu surface you can see rivets on the rib lines, on the rest of the textile covered wing, the ailerons and flaps there are stiches, covered by zick-zack cutted tape strips. On http://www.airliners.net/photo/Aircraft-Restoration-Company/Morane-Sau.....7f44f6b12f17ad0 it seems the same way on this M.S. 505 (G-BPHZ), but the view is too far away. So please could you make a few pics from the top and the buttom of the wings, showing this surface details more closely?
I am also planning to install LED lights, but only if there are a few on the original M.S. 505. On the Storches there were red and green position lights in the wing tips, a white light on the lower back rim of the rudder and on the most versions an aditional landing light under the left wing.
On the most M.S. 505 pictures you can see M.S. 505 without wing tip position lights, for example on http://www.airliners.net/photo/Morane-Saulnier-MS-505-Criquet/1235183/.....7f44f6b12f17ad0 . On the above link of the G-BPHZ there also seems to be no light in the back rim of the rudder and I have not seen any M.S. 505 with landing lights. Does someone know if there were some M.S. 505 flying in France with any kind of light?
If not it's o.k., I will love to do without lighting, this would save weight and money...
Thank you for your help in advance!
Regards
Ralph
P.S. für Stephan: ich hoffe nicht, dass ich Dir Deinen Thread zu sehr M.S.-lastig mache und für meine Zwecke misbrauche. Falls doch, gib mir bitte Bescheid.

Hello at all!
Have some of you any idea regarding my problem with the lights on the M.S. 505 in France?
I should plan to put some in the wings right now, if there were some on the originals...
Thanks a lot in advance!

Ralph

Hallo Stephan,

Hello, I am new of this forum. Sorry for my english language.
I know that unfortunately Mr. H.J. Fisher is no longer with us.
But I found his 3-view drawing of the Avo-68 Samburo posted on this thread (post dated 24/12/2008).
Does anybody have the full resolution drawing by chance? Or maybe, as alternative, anybody knows where it can be found?
I would be very interested in that.
Thank you very much in advance for any help.
