SZD 12 Mucha 100

Hi All,

is the first time for me on this forum an for this reason I present me, I am an Italian modeller and I am very enthusiastic for building scale glider. I am following this forum from many time and I thanks Vincent for the very beautiful forum from where I have learned many things regarding building glider. Following the method of construction of Musger, I made the my first project of glider totally build in balsa an plywood the SZD12 Mucha-100 1/5 semi scale. I enclose some pictures of the building of my glider and some photo of the finish model.
Unfortunately I have no photo of model flying but from my firs flight tests, seems that the model flight well.
The characteristics of model are the following:

Wingspan 3m
weight 3.2kg
profile HQ 30-12

If someone is interested to the project in CAD format I can sent it by e-mail.

Again many compliments for the forum that for me is one of the beautiful on web.

Congratulates the beautiful model and I am glad that painted it looks like my copy. If you need accurate information about the scheme please painting. I will send you detailed drawings. In Poland such a model was built Thomas Swiderski http://www.bakcyl.systemart.pl/index.html?grp=19 you can compare with her. In my opinion, you are more successful.

What a coincidence I am also drawing a plan of the Mucha Standard at the moment in 1:5.

I like your work. Could you put a few more information of the construction on the net. Did you use mostly Balsa for the fuselage - what material did you use for the formers and the longerons?

Please also contribute a few details about wingconstruction.

New Mucha 100 France ???!!! SUPER France flew the original one Mucha 100. Unfortunately, I do not have the pictures and I do not know its history. Vincent, if you need pictures or paint scheme write.

I am very happy that your friend Gérald has appreciated my project ,for me is a beautiful thing to share my drawings with other enthusiastic of vintage glider.
Many congratulation to Gérald for the very good construction , the 3.6m is a very good size.

again many compliment to Gerald for the construction. I need to apologize with you and Gerald but I have checked the CG indication on my drawing and I need to underline that the position indicated is wrong,
you need to move forward the position of CG of about 5mm. Obviously considering that you have scaled my drawings you need to recalculate the position. Moving the CG 5mm forward the CG is placed at 39% of medium chord.

Ci-joint plan détaillé du grandeur que m'a envoyé Roberto
a noter qu'avec IE, ce gif en trés haute résolution ne s'ouvrira peut être pas, faites dans ce cas un clic droit sur la vignette/enregistrer la cible sous... sinon pas de soucis d'ouverture avec FireFox et Chrome

Et non , avec IE , même en faisant "enregistrer la cible sous .." ça ne veut pas marcher . J'obtiens un grand carré blanc avec une petite croix rouge en haut à droite ...

Si tu fais enregistrer la cible sous... ça t'enregistre le fichier là où tu veux, bureau, mes docs... donc après t'ouvres ce fichier avec la visionneuse windows ou autre soft, sauf IE
