after one year and my first son...i decided to start build the ka3.....
now the first problem.....
on the short kit by Fred all the ribs are precutted for a longherons pin of 17x7......but it's impossible to find at any brico this kind of mesure...
someone may suggest how to solve this problem....i don't wont cut new ribs for a different longherons....
the only mesure i have found is oyus 15x5..........

Hi Gianfry,
Glad you finaly going to start the Ka3 ! 
For the 17x7, I don't really have a solution...
Maybe glue a 2mm balsa strip on 2 sides on the 15x5 pine you have found
I did that once for one of my glider, and worked fine...
Other than that, you will have to cut your own spar 
Another thing while we are at it, because you have an old kit, can you measure the lenght of the ribs compared to the plan ?
If you find any differences, can you send me your address by PM ? and I'll will send you a new set of ribs (but still with a 17x7mm spar I'm affraid...). I don't recall I have contacted you regarding this issue
