2nd Doppelraab in Turkey

This is the first Doppi in Turkey which build from Cem Zirh and mine will be the second one..

Tomorrow I will start building the wings..
But tonight I have a problem... I do not know if its dxf mistake or my laser cut machine problem???

Main spar shown 5x10mm on the plan & dxf, but all ribs (balsa & plywoods) have 6x10mm cut for spar..

As a solution I cut tiny pieces from 1mm balsa and glue it every ribs on the wing..

I fix this problem but it took long time.. I am ready for wing construction now..

I re-checked the dxf is well 10x5mm
Strange indeed that the cuts are at 11mm
There is not a bad parameter cutting, which cuts outside the lines?

We are lucky that Vincent have dxf plans of Doppi, which makes us much quicker construction by the help of laser cut..

So much snow for today and I prefer to stay home

For March this much snow is not usual Vincent..

But it gave me a full free day for Doppi construction

Last 17 years , we did not have this much snow ( from tv news )

My wife car ( hard to believe but its a WW Golf )




I spend 1.5 hours to plow the snow
