You are right, that's not entirely scale design . But with wing root at 52cm I was a bit worried about mechanical aspect. As the front side will be planked only the two spars will be visible. Still one too much , but I just wanted to be on the safe side ...

I understand your fear , I suppose you put a cap on the ribs so the spar will not appear directly after the wing is covered nevertheless there is no problem if you build a strong trailing edge.Do you install airbrakes on upper and bottom sides of the wing? |

Not sure about the airbrakes yet ... It would be much easier to make them just on the upper side. On the other side, two sided airbrakes, like the one I made on my Kranich, add that something to real front figure when you are aproaching for landing ... |

your glider is really great!
Which profile do you use?
Do you have an idea which weight the modell will have?
Best regards

Great job, no doubt I will also build a big Minimoa one day after the one I made a few years ago at 1:3,5 scale, even if it's a great classic often built...Maybe the two seater... Which scheme did you choose for yours?

I used HQ 3.5/14 on the middle section and HQ 3.5/12 on the outside. Regarding weight, it sould be under 20kg, I guess around 17kg.

It will be HB-232 design. Covered with natur oratex and painted white.
